Step Two: Support the USWNT through the group stage of the World Cup
The U.S. team began their play in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They played two games. The first was a 3-1 win over Australia. The second ended in a 0-0 tie with Sweden.
Seeing as there were a few days in between games, I went sightseeing around Winnipeg with my parents on the off days.

The final group stage game was in Vancouver. On the drive from Winnipeg to Vancouver, I drove through southern Alberta and British Columbia.
We played Nigeria at BC Place in game 3 and won 1-0. The win gave us 7 points which resulted in a first place finish within our group. The next game would be in Edmonton in 6 day's time.
I took the days off and explored Vancouver Island.
Then I took the Sea to Sky Highway on my way to Edmonton.
